In 2020, the release of the album “Make It Happen” by The Soul Seeders and a Parisian Carlton concert canceled for health reasons led to a virtual meeting and discussions related to soul music. The desire to create together was immediate. In 2022 Carlton collaborated with LOVEMEDO RECORDS, and the new album “Pleasure” is finally here. The meeting of the Soulman and the backing band The Soul Seeders has given birth to some rooted and progressive soul. Carlton Jumel Smith & The Soul Seeders, with Pleasure, chart a path of hope and fight fate with love and joy, the two fundamental feelings of their soul.
